Welcome to the ACUMEN Network blog. This is intended to keep ACUMEN members up to date with what’s happening in the organisation.

Lots of changes have been happening!

As you may know David Wright retired in July after many years dedicated service and Rachel McLean (me) started in September. We have been busy recruiting a new member of staff as Development Worker in Dunoon who is due to start in November 2017.

We are looking for new ways to engage with the membership all the time and are hoping that this blog helps to keep you up to date.

Plans for a steering group meeting in late November…..if you are a member and would like to know more about the steering group please get in touch. 0141 847 8900

ACUMEN are busy working with the mental health reference group in INVERCLYDE as they discuss changes to the structure of their services. Next meeting Friday 27th 2-4 Your Voice.

In Argyle and Bute Tina, in addition to her groups has been busy running workshops for the NFL women in Agriculture on the topic of mental health which raised some very interesting issues.

In Renfrewshire, ACUMEN are participating in a consultation on how to promote Social Connectedness in the community on 31st Oct at Johnstone Town Hall. If you are in the area please come along.
